7-23-08 Foot League Practice- There are now 2 foot league practices scheduled. The first is tonight, Wednesday July 23 at 6pm. The 2nd is Sunday Aug 3rd at 3pm.
7-21-08 Playoff Schedule Update- Due to my mistake. I have done the best I could with everyone's input on the remaining playoff schedule. Unless there is a better way, the pending posted playoff schedule is the only way I see to complete the playoffs on schedule.
If there is a problem with the schedule, please let me know. I cannot guarantee that I can change it to fit your needs. Every single team has been without players, missed work, etc to attend the playoffs and I appreciate it. Unless there is a major problem with the pending schedule, it will be the finalized by Tues.
7-20-08 Playoff Schedule Update- Due to the my error, this weekend, July 26 and 27, will be the make up round 1 games between the Snipers and Cougars.
The remaining days and times have been posted for the playoffs. While I understand some teams have yet to be determined, please look at the schedule and let me know if you see a problem now.
Once again, I am sorry for the inconvenience to the other teams, but I made the mistake and could not expect a team to miss out because of it. It won't happen again.
7-20-08 14 & Under Practice- I have scheduled a 14 & under practice between our playoff games. It is scheduled for August 2nd at 1:15. Let's spread the word!

We'd also like to announce that Andrew Smith is now the official stat and record keeper for the league. You've probably seen some of his stat sheets on the message board. He's a wiz with those programs and a perfect fit for our stat position. Welcome aboard Andy!
7-14-08 Playoff Schedule- The playoff schedule is posted. Please check it and let me know of any problems right away. I have incorporated 3 requests into the schedule already.
7-14-08 TV & Radio- Monday morning several of us had a blast doing some league promotion with 92.5 Kiss FM's Andrew Z Show and then with WTOL's Colleen Wells. Thanks very much to both for giving us the opportunity to entertain you and allowing us to promote the league. I'll put a link to both as soon as I get them.
7-14-08 Final Standings- Congratulations to all teams that made the playoffs. A complete playoff schedule will be out by Tuesday, but the matchups are on the "playoff bracket" page.

7-11-08 Media Blitz- On Monday, July 14th we are privileged to have not one, but two media outlets giving us some exposure. First, at 7am, 92.5 KISS fm's Andrew Z is sending Gay Steve, from his morning show, to play goalie while we take some shots at him.
Then, at about 8:30am, WTOL is sending out Jennifer Boresz to do a live shot story for their "Your Day" show that airs between 9am and 10.
If you can make it, come on out. It should be great fun. Also, take a moment to thank Justin Phillips and Andy Smith for setting these up.
